Shahriyar Musayev is a kamancha performer and international competition
laureate. He presents Azerbaijani national musical traditions through a modern
interpretation, distinguished by his unique performance style and refined stage
presence.
He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Azerbaijan National
Conservatory. In 2013, he became a laureate of both international and national
mugham competitions.
In 2020, he won 1st place in the “Over 25 age group” category at the “Online
Music Festival” organized by “Aler Kamancha” under the slogan “Stay Home,
Stay With Music,” receiving a special kamancha valued at $4,500.
He is the founder of the social project “KamanTV” and served as General
Manager of the international project “Turkcan.” His performances across digital
platforms have surpassed 60 million views, demonstrating strong international
recognition and audience engagement.
On November 2, at the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy, he will
present his solo concert “Xəbərsiz”, showcasing the harmony of tradition and
modernity through the voice of the kamancha.
