It’s been a while since the theater on the world stage has gone beyond the usual classical format. OVO ars will bring new impulse to the development of art in Baku by the combination of the immersive theater and shamanistic rituals.

The project is based on the synthesis of the theater, music, fine arts, dance as well as revival/rebirth of the ancient Azerbaijani tradition of spiritual health “Darul Shafa” (which is a type of meditations rooted in Shamanism and Sufism).

Under the motto “Art should generate art” our project is intended to become a muse, an atmosphere from which people will draw inspiration. Our goal is to reach harmony through self- liberation and self-educated, going through the transition of the dark hall of the soul to the gates of great despair that open the way to the journey on the edge of the night.

Various locations, formats, experiments - everything is united with one purpose only - to reveal new facets of imagination, new sensations, to draw everyone into the fascinating world of art and magic.

There is no audience, only participants of the actions!

“Journey to the edge of night” consists of two parts:

1. Shamanic Ritual

2. Immersive Play “Garden of Dreams”
