The first performance of the opera Pagliacci was performed on the stage of the Milan Theater in 1892. Soon after, the opera, which was presented to other theaters, still occupies a strong place in the repertoire of many leading world theaters. The clowns was staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in 1999, directed by Dzhannat Salimova. To this day, the theater’s repertoire is firmly rooted and always welcomed by the audience with its beautiful stage design and costumes, high-level structure and professional performance of the participants.
