New Wave 2025 Winner – Live in Baku for the First Time!

The artist who captured the internet with viral covers in multiple languages is coming to Baku with a special live program featuring original songs and fan-favorite hits.

Alex Lim, a Kazakhstan-based performer with Korean roots and fluent Russian, is a true global artist. His renditions of popular songs such as “A Fairytale in My Life,” “When a Man Falls in Love,” “White Swan,” and “Confessa” have become his signature.

In just six months, he gained over 500,000 followers on social media, with a major breakthrough following his powerful performance of “Siberian Frosts” on Andrey Malakhov’s show.

His original works include emotional tracks like “Hug Me,” “My Paradise,” and “People.” In June, he released his debut EP featuring “Everything Ahead,” “Fly,” and “Forget.”

In August 2025, Alex Lim won the international “New Wave” competition in Kazan, becoming the first artist from Kazakhstan to take the grand prize.

In autumn, he impressed audiences again with “Vokzal” and “Let Me Go,” created in collaboration with composer Igor Krutoy.
