On June 18, the Heydar Aliyev Palace will host the opening ceremony of Space of Mugam 6th International Music Festival. Alim Qasimov, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, the outstanding singer, who synthesizes mugham with modern musical trends, Honored Artist Fargana Qasimova, Daud Khan Sadozai, the world-famous performer of Afghan rubab and Indian sarod, Sashar Zarif, who granted the Diamond Jubilee Medal by Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to the art of dance, and Senem Akdemir, Turkish folk music artist will perform at the concert.
