For more than a century, concerts have been held in the unique architectural monument - chamber and organ music hall with mesmerizing acoustics, where you’ll have a chance to listen to the works composed by the great Russian composer S.Rachmaninoff. His romances and well-known piano pieces will be played at the concert.

 

Soloists:

 

Fagan Hasanli is a pianist from Azerbaijan, Baku. He has graduated from Baku Academy of Music named after U. Hajibayli with a BA and an MA (hons) in the class of professor, honored Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic, T. Seyidov. He has won “Gran-pri” in a competition between music schools of Baku in 2006. He was a laureate and the 1st place winner in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Bulgaria.

 

He has been the first performer of Gara Garaev’s "Three-Voice Fugue" and Jahangir Garayev’s “Sonata”.

 

He gave recitals in Russia (Bashkortostan Republic), as a soloist and concertmaster, also participated in concerts held in Israil, USA, Ukraine, Estonia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and so on.

 

In 2019 he performed with Yefim Bronfman within the 10th M.Rostropovich international festival. In 2022 he performed a piano concert of Mozart with the chamber orchestra named after Mendelssohn from Hungary and conducted for the first time in his career.

 

 

İslama Abdullayeva is a professional classical musician, known by her performances of both local and international composers' works. She brings a fresh perspective to classical pieces, making significant contributions to Azerbaijan's music history. Notably, her albums "Azerbaijani music" (2020), "Stabat Mater" (2024), and "1109" (2022) which consists of compositions based on M. Mushfig’s poems play a big role in her art.

She successfully portrayed the role of Clotilde in V. Bellini's "Norma" opera in Azerbaijan's debut staging in 2019.

 

In 2021, Abdullayeva became the first Azerbaijani soprano selected for the VI International Competition named after M. Magomaev in Moscow. Her remarkable performance caught the attention of the judges, leaving a lasting impression as a skilled and memorable professional.
