On June 24, on the Memorial Day of Carlos Gardel — the legendary artist and symbol of world tango — a grand evening of Argentine tango will take place at the Concert Hall of the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy as part of the international festival El Calor en Baku.

On stage — La Argenta Ensamble, one of Europe’s most vibrant Argentine tango orchestras: 5 musicians, powerful live sound, original arrangements by Fernando Herrera, and expressive vocals by Ximena González. Special guest stars of the evening will also perform — world-renowned tango maestros Yanina Quiñones & Neri Piliu.

The concert will become the final highlight of the Argentine Culture Week in Baku, six days during which the historic center of the city — Icherisheher — transforms into a living space of music, dance, and gastronomy.
