"Opera and Fashion Sultan Couture 20"

On March 8, International Women's Day, a concert program and exhibition titled "Opera and Fashion Sultan Couture 20" will be presented at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Renowned opera singers - international competition winner Yana Melikayeva (mezzo-soprano), soloist of the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theater Anastasia Chernovolos (soprano), Yulia Suleymanova (soprano), Ekaterina Sannikova (soprano) and Elnara Mammadova (soprano), soloists of the St. Petersburg State Academic Mariinsky Theatre will take part in a concert combining opera and fashion at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

On the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Center, the artists will perform the most striking and well-known works by Azerbaijani and foreign composers. The artists will be accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli under the direction of conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov. Another moment that will make the evening special will be the appearance on stage of the opera singers in dresses sewn by the fashion designer Orkhan Sultan especially for the Baku concert. For example, during the concert in the Auditorium a collection of 16 pieces of clothing owned by SULTAN COUTURE&Co brand celebrating its 20th anniversary will be presented. During the night, the singers who will take to the stage will also present BVLGARI brand jewelry.
