The main character Halima turns out to be a "black sheep" in school, she does not meet the standards of modern adolescents. Her view of the world and religion, friendship, and love is different from her classmates. The tougher the struggle for a place, the more Halima is faced with the rejection and hostility of other children, their parents, and school teachers.
