The Ganja State Historical and Cultural Reserve brings together important cultural heritage sites reflecting the city’s rich history, architecture, and prominent personalities.

Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum is one of Ganja’s most famous symbols and one of Azerbaijan’s most significant historical monuments. The mausoleum is dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi. The works of Nizami, author of the world-famous “Khamsa,” hold a special place in world literature. The complex is located in a green landscaped area and is visited every year by thousands of tourists, researchers, and poetry enthusiasts. This place is considered not only a historical monument but also an important cultural center.

Nizami Ganjavi Museum is a cultural and historical site dedicated to the life, творчество, and literary heritage of the great poet. The museum exhibition introduces visitors to different stages of Nizami’s life, his works, rare materials, historical documents, artworks, and exhibits reflecting the era in which the poet lived. The museum provides an opportunity to explore more closely Nizami Ganjavi’s contribution to world literature and culture.

“Ganja Fortress Gates” Archaeology and Ethnography Museum Complex is one of the city’s most fascinating cultural and historical sites, reflecting its centuries-old history.
