Application of Artistic Basis of the Azerbaijani Carpet in Contemporary Art lecture.

The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum will hold Application of Artistic Basis of the Azerbaijani Carpet in Contemporary Art lecture by Elchin Shamilli, PhD in Art and theorist of visual art. The lecture will deliver information on the visual structure, general conditions, overall structure and elements of the Azerbaijani carpet, which is the phenomenon of the centuries-old culture.

The lecture will also talk about the possibilities provided by the carpet art, which is the visual language of the Azerbaijani people, that can be applied in modern and future’s art, design and architecture. Shamilli will answer the guests’ questions during the discussions.
