28th Azerbaijan Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics
About event
In March, when spring overwhelms the country, “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena) will open its doors to Rhythmic gymnasts preparing for the next national competition.
The most graceful representatives of gymnastics will perform at the 28th Azerbaijan Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics on March 24 & 25.
In total, 38 gymnasts from Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojaq Sports Club”, “Republican Complex Sports School”, Ganja Naftalan Health Center, “Grasiya” Sport Club, Zira Cultural Center & Sumgait will compete at the competition.
At the Championship, athletes belonging to the age categories of juniors (2008-2010) & seniors (born in 2007 and older) will test their strength in the Individual & Group exercises.
Winners among individual gymnasts will be determined in apparatus finals (Ball, Hoop, Clubs, Ribbon). Athletes in Group Exercises will demonstrate their performances with 5 Ropes (juniors) & 3 Ribbons & 2 Balls (senior) out-of-competition.
