“Shine like a star” - this motto expresses the magnificence of one of the most major Gymnastics competitions of the year - the 39^th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics to be held in our country.

Gymnastics stars of Europe will dazzle with their performances at the competitions hosted by the favorite venue - “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena) within 5 days - May 17-21.

The most anticipated competition of the year, distinguished by a spectacular Opening Ceremony, will bring together gymnasts from 38 countries.

The Championships will turn into the most memorable competitions not only for gymnasts who proved to be gymnastics stars, but also for young gymnasts who are aimed to achieve great success, including fans who will visit our capital from different countries to support their gymnasts.

The participants of the competitions will experience thrilling emotions.

Gymnasts will make their way to the Field of Play along the red carpet, designed and accompanied by similar decorative elements and lighting effects in the Hollywood style. They will try to find a way to the hearts of the fans with their professional performances.

The funniest image of the Championships will undoubtedly be the mascot of the European Gymnastics - a monkey named Luigi. He will entertain the audience and gymnasts, making them positive & good atmosphere with his jokes & interesting programs.

This will be the 5^th Europeans in Rhythmic Gymnastics organized by our country.

It should be mentioned that our capital hosted the Continental Championships in this Gymnastics discipline in 2007, 2009, 2014 & 2019.

During the five-day Championships, gymnasts will perform in the Individual program (among seniors) and within Teams in Group Exercises (among juniors & seniors).

Individual gymnasts will present their performances in the All-Around & with separate Apparatus (Clubs, a Hoop, a Ball, a Ribbon).

19 senior Teams in Group Exercises will compete with 5 Hoops & 3 Ribbons and 2 Balls, while 22 Junior Teams in Group Exercises will participate with 5 Ropes & 5 Balls.

According to the results of the draw, Azerbaijani Individual senior gymnasts and junior teams in Group Exercises will perform 18^th, while the Senior Team in Group Exercise will perform under the sequence number 10.
