Gazakh District Cultural Center

The construction of the Gazakh District Cultural Center building began in 1976. The building is two-story, with a construction volume of 14,208 cubic meters. It was commissioned in 1980.

The facility includes a large hall with 420 seats and a small hall with 100 seats. The first floor houses the Gazakh State Drama Theater and the Centralized Library System. Another section of the building is occupied by Children’s Music School No. 2.

The Cultural Center hosts various clubs and activities, including saz, mugham, dance, jiu-jitsu, arm wrestling, and kickboxing. The center employs 12 staff members and supervises 42 affiliated branches, where 136 employees work.

The activities of the Cultural Center focus on the effective organization of residents’ leisure time, preservation and development of national traditions, protection of cultural heritage, and broad promotion of the country’s domestic and foreign policy.
