The Lankaran History and Ethnography Museum is a cultural and historical museum housed in the early 20th‑century home of Mir Ahmad Khan, built in 1913. Operating as a museum since 1991, it contains over 8,000 exhibits that illustrate the ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary history of the Lankaran region. Collections include archaeological artifacts, ethnographic items, folk applied arts, numismatic pieces, and documents of notable figures, arranged across six thematic sections from nature and ancient times to the modern era. The historic building underwent extensive restoration between 2013 and 2015.
