
The Sabirabad District History and Local Lore Museum has been operating since 1986. Its exhibitions present the history and cultural development of the Sabirabad district from ancient times to the present day. The museum occupies a 480-square-meter building that includes six exhibition halls as well as storage and administrative rooms.
The collection preserves thousands of items, including archaeological discoveries, household and ethnographic artifacts, examples of decorative and applied arts, documents, photographs, and materials reflecting the district’s natural and cultural heritage. The museum’s mission is to preserve, study, and present the historical memory of the region.
