The Sheki State Drama Theatre is one of the oldest theater institutions in Azerbaijan and is located in the city of Sheki. The theatre was founded in 1879 and has played an important role in the development of the country's theatrical culture. Its repertoire includes both classical and contemporary Azerbaijani plays as well as stage productions based on world literature.
