Thomas Anders – a German singer, songwriter and stage performer whose real name is Bernd Weidung. He achieved worldwide recognition through Modern Talking, the duo he formed with Dieter Bohlen. The 1985 single “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul” marked the beginning of Modern Talking’s international success. Later hits such as “Cheri, Cheri Lady”, “Brother Louie”, “Atlantis Is Calling” and “No Face No Name No Number” became important songs in the history of European pop and eurodisco.
