Description

The opening concert of the Baku International Arts Festival 2026 marks the 120^th anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich’s birth.

Pianist Lukas Geniušas and trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth join the BIAF Festival Orchestra and the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev, conducted by Dmitry Sitkovetsky, for a gala evening honouring one of the twentieth century’s most remarkable composers.
