Guitarist composer Alex Scheuerer and vocalist Najwa Ezzaher, are making their debut in Azerbaijan alongside their 5-piece band, ready to dazzle audiences at the Baku International Jazz Festival!
"I am thrilled to take the stage at the legendary Baku Jazz Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and to share the magic of “La Vie en Soul” with the vibrant music lovers of Baku. Sharing the stage with Najwa Ezzaher and a lineup of world-class musicians, we promise to ignite the night on the 25th at Jolly Joker Baku with a fusion of jazz, neo-soul, and timeless French classics reimagined.
But that’s not all-exclusively for Baku, we’re elevating the experience with a string section from the Azerbaijan State Academic Orchestra, unveiling brand-new songs inspired by Middle Eastern melodies. As we like to say, “This show speaks to the hearts of our mixed origins,” blending the romance of Paris with the soul of Beirut."

Heloisa Lourenço, nicknamed “The Empress of the Dark Voice,” captivates audiences with her explosive temperament on stage. Her bluesy, sensual voice, coming straight from the heart, touches the soul. Heloisa was born in São Paulo. When she moved from Brazil to France, she was immediately noticed in Paris. She has collaborated as a composer, author, and performer in short films, Brazilian shows, and festivals, as well as participated in the recording of several albums by international groups and artists such as Manu Dibango, Paul Personne, Richard Clayderman, Tulio De Piscopo, and many others.
