From London to Paris, from New York to Istanbul, candlelight concerts that transform historic venues in cities around the world into magical musical stages have now arrived in Baku. 🌍
On September 19, a special retro evening dedicated to National Music Day and the golden era of Azerbaijani music will be held at the Chamber and Organ Music Hall of the M. Magomayev Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic.
A live performance by Retro Band and the elegant atmosphere created by thousands of candles will turn this evening into an unforgettable musical experience. The programme will feature beloved works from Azerbaijani pop music and vocal art, performed in a retro style with fresh and emotional nuances. Familiar melodies will take you on a musical journey filled with nostalgia.
Retro Band is an ensemble specially formed by Candlelight Baku, consisting of vocalists and instrumentalists. The ensemble features piano, tar, kamancha, and percussion instruments, bringing its retro repertoire back to life through a vibrant live performance in the Candlelight atmosphere.
