On 10 October, the Fikret Amirov Ganja State Philharmonic Hall will host a special retro evening dedicated to the golden era of Azerbaijani music. Performed by the Candlelight Retro Ensemble in the elegant and enchanting glow of candlelight, this evening promises an unforgettable musical experience.
The programme will feature some of the finest gems of Azerbaijani popular music and the classical vocal tradition, presented through fresh, refined and emotional interpretations. Familiar melodies will come to life again in a retro spirit, taking you on an elegant and moving musical journey filled with nostalgia.
Candlelight Retro Ensemble is a specially selected musical ensemble formed by Candlelight Baku, featuring three distinctive vocalists and an instrumental group. The ensemble includes piano, percussion, tar, kamancha and other instruments. With its extensive stage experience, balance between different musical styles and expressive live performance, the ensemble brings the retro repertoire to life in a contemporary Candlelight atmosphere, transforming every performance against the backdrop of thousands of candles into an emotional and memorable musical experience.
