⭐🕯️ Dear residents of Sumgayit! Candlelight — the original candlelight concerts — ARE BACK IN SUMGAYIT!
From London to Paris, from New York to Istanbul — candlelight concerts that have captivated audiences in cities around the world are now in Sumgayit! 🌎
On 25 October, the Sumgayit State Drama Theatre will host a special concert dedicated to the golden era of Azerbaijani music. Surrounded by the glow of hundreds of candles, a live ensemble will perform the most beloved and treasured Azerbaijani songs of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
Familiar melodies from Azerbaijani pop music and the classical vocal tradition will be presented by the Candlelight Retro Band in a fresh, elegant and emotional style. Featuring three vocalists and professional musicians, the ensemble will breathe new life into everyone’s favourite songs, accompanied by piano, tar, kamancha, percussion and other instruments.
This is more than just a concert — it is an opportunity to enjoy songs that you, your friends, family and loved ones have cherished for years, all together in a completely unique atmosphere. Bring your loved ones and rediscover your favourite melodies during this special evening filled with nostalgia.
