The World Championship for men, women, and juniors will take place over two days. Some of the world’s strongest and most prestigious athletes from around 30 countries will compete for medals.
The competitions will be held on a specially prepared earthen “dohyo”, bringing to life the spirit and atmosphere of traditional Japanese sumo.
Every step, every confrontation, and every bout will showcase the grandeur of the centuries-old traditions of sumo.
