“The Cherry Orchard” is a stage adaptation of The Cherry Orchard — a deeply moving story about change, memory, and the painful farewell to the familiar world.

In an old estate once filled with laughter and grand celebrations, only memories remain — warm and beautiful, yet no longer belonging to the present. Its owners return home hoping to hold on to the passing of time, but time is merciless.

Anton Chekhov called this work a comedy. Director Alexander Sharovsky stages Chekhov without sentimentality: no nostalgia, no romantic haze. What emerges is a piercing story about people unable to keep pace with inevitable change.

If you have ever tried to hold on to something that could no longer be saved, this performance is for you. After all, the cherry orchard blooms only for a short time.
