On this evening dedicated to the cherished memory of Arif Babayev, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani mugham and long-time soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, his artistic school’s successors – People’s Artists Mansum Ibrahimov, Aygun Bayramova, Nezaket Teymurova, Gulyaz Mammadova, Gulyanaq Mammadova; Honored Artists – Gulustan Aliyeva, Nuriye Huseynova, Sevinc Sariyeva, Elnur Zeynalov, and Ilkin Ahmedov – will pay tribute to his artistic legacy through their performances.

The soloists will be accompanied on the tar by People’s Artist Elchin Hashimov, and on the kamancha by Honored Artist Elnur Ahmedov.
