Synopsis
Pamela Travers’s play Mary Poppins tells the story of the extraordinary nanny Mary Poppins, who arrives from an unknown place, and how she manages to tame two mischievous children.
Mary takes the little troublemakers into her magical world, guides them through various mysterious places, and tells them about celestial bodies. The children undergo trials set by Mary, her Uncle Curly, and the Rabbit. The nanny also teaches them the secrets of reading, playing, and having fun. As a result, the mischievous Michael and his sister Jane come to love their nanny and, with her help, learn the secrets of good behavior.
Through the character of Mary, Pamela Travers advises us to be sincere with children and, when teaching them something, to view the world through their delicate inner world.
The performance is accompanied by entertaining games, beautiful musical pieces, and dances.
