Alexander Kudryashov Theater Company (Tbilisi) creates works at the intersection of theater and contemporary art, trying to show things that cannot be done in a regular theater.
The Theater Company's new production "Strange Voices" is a "collective audition". The author offers 12 recordings collected from different parts of the world, dramatically woven into a single narrative. These are the words of different people with different destinies: from Uncle Kolya from the remote Khokhloma region of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, to a Xanax-using escort worker. As Eisenstein said, the best cinema happens in the viewer's head. And here, the expected montage of impressions will work on you in its own way, and you will leave the theatre hall a different person.
