The grand premiere of "The Gadfly," one of the world’s most famous works by E. L. Voynich, performed by renowned Azerbaijani actors, will take place this time in Nakhchivan.

The story revolves around the hero Arthur Burton, a member of the Youth Movement. The tragic events related to his relationship with his father Padre Montanelli and his love for his friend Gemma form the basis of the work. It is a work of religion, frustration, revolution, romance and heroism. The novel “The Gadfly” has been popular all over the world for more than a century and arouses great interest and strong emotions among viewers.
