Buray – a Turkish Cypriot pop singer. Raised in a musical family, he studied classical music composition at Eastern Mediterranean University before completing a master’s degree in sound engineering and music production in the United Kingdom. Buray launched his solo career in 2015 with 1 Şişe Aşk, released by Sony Music. Its songs “İstersen” and “Sen Sevda Mısın” reached number one on Turkish pop charts and established his first major period of success. On the later albums Sahiden, Kehanet, Başka Hikayeler and Al Senin Olsun Dünya, he continued developing a sound built around acoustic instruments, pop rock elements and romantic songwriting.
