FARDI – the stage name of Fardi Samedov, a hip-hop artist of Azerbaijani heritage who grew up in Severobaykalsk, Buryatia, Russia. His music explores cultural identity, personal experience and life across different countries through contemporary rap. One of his early notable projects was the EP “Чёрный сад,” which addressed social stereotypes and questions of belonging. In September 2024, FARDI released his debut full-length album “Апшерон,” featuring collaborations with L'One, Truwer, Ulukmanapo and other hip-hop artists. The album's title refers to Azerbaijan's Absheron Peninsula and reflects the musician's cultural roots. In 2025, he followed it with the EP “Qara Qand,” incorporating influences from traditional Azerbaijani music and Baku folklore.
