JONY

JONY – an Azerbaijani-born singer and songwriter whose real name is Jahid Afrayil oglu Huseynli. He was born in Baku on 29 February 1996 and moved to Moscow with his family at the age of four. JONY first attracted attention by sharing cover performances and music videos on social media. He began actively developing his professional music career in 2018, while the song “Аллея” brought him widespread recognition. His later single “Комета” established him as one of the most recognisable performers in Russia and other CIS countries. JONY is known for his emotional vocals, romantic lyrics and melodic combination of pop, R&B and hip-hop.
