One of the world’s foremost violinists, Maxim Vengerov brings the festival to a close alongside pianist Evgenia Startseva and the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fuad Ibrahimov.

The programme features music by Shostakovich and Rimsky-Korsakov’s celebrated Scheherazade. Vengerov’s virtuosity, the full power of the symphony orchestra and the vivid musical imagery of the East come together in a stirring festival finale.
