DJ Party

About event

27 April. Friday night’s first After-Party will be started by the legendary Afrojack, Grammy Award-winning recording artist, producer, and DJ. Known as a versatile producer and music artist who is able to move effortlessly across genres from electronic music to hip-hop and pop, he is as respected and known for his work producing tracks for other artists as much as he is known for his own music. Just some of the tracks he has helped produce include Beyonce’s Run The World (Girls), Madonna’s Revolver with David Guetta and Ne-Yo and Pitbull’s Give Me Everything. In 2018 alone, Afrojack has released an array of diverse hits such as Bad Company with DirtCaps, Helium by teaming up again with David Guetta and Sia, and a remix of U2’s iconic Get Out Of Your Own Way. He continues to work a lot with his good friend David Guetta, and later this year they will perform in Ibiza together. Afrojack also released two hits last year with David Guetta, Another Life featuring Ester Dean and the star-studded Dirty Sexy Money with Charli XCX and French Montana. Afrojack won a Grammy for his 2011 remix of Madonna’s Revolver (David Guetta's One Love Club Remix) shared with David Guetta for the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical. He’s been nominated a total of 4 times for remixing Collide with Leona Lewis; producing Look at Me Now with Chris Brown and producing Give Me Everything with Ne-Yo, Pitbull, and Nayer. Afrojack recently returned back home to Wynn Las Vegas for his 2018 residency and performed twice at this year’s Ultra Miami for their 20th anniversary where he brought out special guest VASSY to perform their recent hit LOST featuring Oliver Rosa. 28 April. Saturday night will see two of Sweden’s most exciting musical exports and leading figures in the electronic dance music scene - Axwell Λ Ingrosso¬ - keep the adrenaline flowing into the early hours of the morning. The iconic reign of Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso – founding members of the legendary Swedish House Mafia - took new heights in the form of Axwell Λ Ingrosso. Embraced by tastemakers, luxury brands and adoring fans across the continents, a culmination of Grammy Nominations, DJ Mag Top 100 chart success and back-to-back Billboard and Beatport chart accession has seen the duo garner huge attention from across the globe. From landmark appearances at Coachella, V Festival and Electronic Daisy Carnival and a weekly summer residency at the prestigious Ushuaia Ibiza under their belts, the year ahead spells more high-profile activity for two Sweden’s hottest musical exports of the last decade. 29 April. The weekend will be closed out by none other than legendary DJ, Martin Solveig who will take to the stage right after Dua Lipa has finished her post-race set to make sure the F1 weekend keeps going just a little bit longer! The global multi-platinum selling Parisian artist has achieved phenomenal success in his 20 years as a DJ, producer, and songwriter and still continues to push the boundaries of music with his pioneering ideas. It was Solveig’s single ‘Hello’, featuring Canadian electropop outfit Dragonette, that really launched the Frenchman into superstardom in 2010. The infectious lead track from his album ‘Smash’ charted at #1 in 4 countries and caught the attention of Madonna, who then recruited Solveig to co-produce six tracks on her album, ‘MDNA’. Solveig also accompanied the Queen of Pop on her worldwide tour in 2012. In 2015, Solveig released his single ‘Intoxicated’ which peaked in the Top 5 of the UK official singles chart and remained there for 24 consecutive weeks and received platinum and gold certifications across Europe. 2016 saw the release of ‘Do It Right’ featuring Tkay Maidza. Another upbeat anthem underneath his belt, the single was used as the soundtrack to Stuart Weitzman’s Fall 2016 campaign, starring supermodel Gigi Hadid and directed by the multi-talented James Franco. Currently working in the studio with the likes of Oliver Heldens, Tiga and Clean Bandit, Solveig continues to build on his stellar reputation as a truly multi-faceted artist.
