The legendary Vagapov Festival - for the first time in Baku!

One of the most prominent national-cultural brands of Tatarstan and the Tatar people - the International Festival of Tatar Song named after Rashit Vagapov is celebrating its 20th (!) concert season this year! Over these years, the festival concerts have been successfully held in 12 countries around the world (Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, USA, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Italy) and 46 regions of Russia.

And finally, very soon - on May 29, 2024, the long-awaited event - the Gala Concert of the Vagapov Festival will take place in Baku, at the International Mugham Center.

The Vagapov Festival always showcases performers of high professional level. It always presents the best Tatar voices, legendary performers, as well as new, bright talents!

The concert in Baku will feature festival laureates - renowned masters of Tatar vocal art such as Rustem Asaev, as well as rising stars like Gulshiren Abdullina, Azat Abitov, Ranis Gabbazov, Almas Husainov, and the laureates of this year's festival Adelya Mubarakova, Iluza Valiullova.

The program will include the best classical compositions and popular hits of Tatar composers, as well as folk songs.

Special guest - the Tatar Youth Center "Yashlek" of Azerbaijan.
