On May 2, for the first time in Baku, the “Tango Evening” will take place - a sensual instrumental candlelight concert with video installations in the incredibly beautiful historical Chamber and Organ Music Hall (Kirha).

We invite you to a special evening where the most famous and beloved works in the tango genre will come to life - music that combines passion, drama and beauty of every moment. The soft flickering of hundreds of candles, magical video installations, the atmosphere of an ancient church, the lively sound of instruments and the soulful energy of tango will create an evening filled with emotions and real musical magic.

“Tango Evening” is an opportunity to hear legendary works that have captured the hearts of millions around the world, performed by the best musicians of Azerbaijan. The program will feature immortal tangos by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel and Jacob Gade - from the passionate “Libertango” to the soulful “Oblivion” and the famous “Por una cabeza” and other works. These melodies will transport you into an atmosphere of hot feelings, sophistication and lively musical passion.

Before the concert, guests will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the Church in the soft candlelight, take beautiful photos and take a moment away from the hustle and bustle of the city to fully immerse themselves in the music. This evening will give you vivid emotions, lively tango energy and unforgettable aesthetic pleasure.

🎶Ensemble - Ars Caspia Ensemble

Ars Caspia Ensemble is a collective that brings together outstanding musicians with international recognition. Their mastery, energy, and refined taste turn any performance into an unforgettable emotional event.

The ensemble includes famous honored artists of Azerbaijan:

Renata Abubekirova (First Violin) - First Violin of the Symphony Orchestra of the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre, a participant of the symphonic project Neue Philharmonie München, performed solo and with orchestras in France, Germany, Italy, China, and other countries.

Zein Jafarov (violin) - Laureate of international competitions, he has collaborated with the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Niyazi Symphony Orchestra and a number of other orchestras over the years, he participates in concert programs and cultural events in Azerbaijan and abroad.

Alexey Miltykh (Cello) - Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has performed in the USA, Germany, France, Turkey, and South Korea. He worked under the direction of Maestro Yuri Temirkanov, a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Chamber Quartet.

Rena Ragimova (Viola) - Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre, laureate of international competitions.

Revan Ahmedzade (Double Bass) - Soloist in the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev, laureate of national competitions, a soloist of many concert programs and festivals in Azerbaijan and abroad.

Ulvia Dadashova (piano) - Laureate of national and international competitions, winner of a Presidential scholarship, and listed in the Golden Book of Azerbaijani Talents. She is a soloist of numerous concert programs and festivals in Azerbaijan and abroad.

These performers are not just an ensemble. They are a true creative laboratory where the living energy of music is born.
