The performance of the same name, staged based on the beautiful example of our national folklore — the tale “Goychak Fatma,” instills in children such wonderful values as humanity and fairness.

Fatma, who bravely endures the ظلم (cruelty) of her stepmother and stepsister, goes to the forest to find the wool carried away by the wind and meets an Old Woman. Serving the Old Woman like her own child, Fatma does not feel disgust and performs every task wholeheartedly. Seeing the girl’s nobility, the Old Woman does everything she can to help her achieve happiness.

Kind-hearted Goychak Fatma marries a prince. Despite all the ظلم (wrongs) and suffering inflicted upon her, Fatma forgives her stepmother and stepsister.
