“Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena) will host another major competition - FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup on March 7-10, 2024.
According to the registration list, a record number of countries (70) are expected to participate in the competition which will qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
At the World Cup competitions in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, our country will be represented by Nikita Simonov (Rings), Ivan Tikhonov (all 6 Apparatus), Rasul Ahmadzada (Floor Exercises, Pommel Horse, Parallel Bars), Mansum Safarov (Vault, Horizontal Bar), while in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics - Nazanin Teymurova (all 4 Apparatus) and Samira Gahramanova (Balance Beam, Floor Exercises) will demonstrate their routines.
At the end of the four-day competitions, the traditional “AGF Trophy” will be presented to the gymnasts who received the highest execution score.
Spectators, wishing to witness the difficult and determined contest between the strongest athletes, can obtain tickets online at https://iticket.az/ and from the city ticket offices. Tickets’ cost constitutes 10 manat for Qualifications and 15 manat for Finals.
