“Lady Macbeth” is a psychological drama inspired by Macbeth, exploring power, desire, and the collapse of the human soul.

Macbeth feared nothing — until he committed murder. One night, one decision, one life taken, and the fearless warrior begins to fall apart from within. He gains the crown, but what comes with it proves stronger than he is.

“Lady Macbeth” is a story about power that first appears as freedom and later becomes a trap. Once desire awakens, it begins to dictate its own rules. What once seemed impossible gradually becomes acceptable.

In director Jeyhun Dadashov’s interpretation, the focus shifts away from political intrigue toward the inner fracture of the human personality. At the center lies not only the struggle for power, but also the conflict between strength and vulnerability inside a person who slowly loses the ability to distinguish between an action and its consequences.
