Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theatre presents the first immersive performance in its history.
Baku, 1916. Oil sets the rules. Money smells of fuel oil and champagne. Theatre and cinema compete for human souls. And the great actor Hussein Arablinski disappears 4 days before filming begins.
The performance unfolds throughout different parts of the theatre: director Konstantin Soldatov and actors Murad Mammadov and Teymur Rahimov guide the audience through the Russian Drama Theatre, revealing spaces normally closed to the public.
Did you think you would simply watch from the side? No — you will become part of the investigation.
This is an immersive production. Here, you are not a spectator. You are a participant.
RULES FOR THE AUDIENCE
Please arrive 30 minutes before the start. The performance begins exactly on time. Late entry destroys the atmosphere of Baku in 1916.
Dress comfortably. You will be moving through stairs, corridors, and long passages. Only flat shoes are allowed; high heels are prohibited.
Photo and video recording during the performance are prohibited. After the show, you will have the opportunity to take photos with the actors.
Do not talk near the actors. The performers will be within arm’s reach. Whispering, laughing, and comments disrupt the immersion for others.
Please pay attention to your physical condition. The performance includes loud sounds, changing lights, complete darkness, and special effects (smoke). If you have epilepsy, cardiovascular diseases, or if you are pregnant, please assess the risks in advance.
