"Much Ado About Nothing"

“Slander lives, and love dies...” The play, based on William Shakespeare's romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing, revolves around how pure love is tarnished by vile slander. Benedick, who has sworn never to marry, informs Prince Don Pedro that his friend Count Claudio is in love with Diana, the daughter of the town governor. Don Pedro takes it upon himself to act as a matchmaker for the young couple. However, the prince's malicious half-brother, Don John, poisons the lovers' happiness. To take revenge on Claudio, Don John uses his men to spread slander about Diana. As a result, Count Claudio rejects Diana on their wedding day.

Thanks to the efforts of Diana's cousin Beatrice, her lover Benedick, and the wisdom of Friar Francisco, the truth is revealed. Don John is exposed, and the lovers are reunited. Even the playful and stubborn Benedick and Beatrice soften and decide to marry. If love is pure, it is hard to stain it. But only if friends working to unite the lovers value their happiness above their own.
