The best theaters of St. Petersburg in the festival "St. Petersburg Theatrical Seasons," which will take place in Baku.

For the first time in Baku, from November 21 to 26, 2023, as part of the Year of Heydar Aliyev, with the support of the Committee on Culture of St. Petersburg and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the XVII annual cross-cultural festival "St. Petersburg Theatrical Seasons" will be held, aimed at establishing and developing cultural ties between St. Petersburg and other cities and art centers around the world. The festival features fascinating performances from St. Petersburg theaters, and the audience gets to know their creators.

The festival has been held since 2007. Over the past 17 years, the performances of the "St. Petersburg Theatrical Seasons" have been shown in Prague, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Marseille, Milan, Athens, and many other cities. Over the years, theaters such as the Alexandrinsky Theater, the Lensoviet Theater, the "Comedian's Shelter," the Bolshoi Puppet Theater, the G.A. Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater, and many others have participated in the festival.

The festival will take place on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Samed Vurgun.
