The Gabala City Stadium was built in 1985 on the site of the local tobacco factory. The total area of the complex is 6 hectares. In addition to the main stadium, the complex also has several reserve fields. In 2005, major renovation and reconstruction work began. Two thousand plastic seats were installed, and the turf was updated. In 2006, modern locker rooms, a gym, and a water supply system using artesian wells were built. In 2007, construction of a reserve stadium, new stands, and the installation of an electronic scoreboard began. At the same time, the construction of reserve fields with artificial turf started.
