Cultural Center "Kimyachi" was put into operation in Sumgayit in 1986. In 2011, President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the current state of the Chemistry Palace in Sumgait and gave instructions on the major reconstruction of this cultural center. In October 2013, capital repairs were started here.
