Andro – a Russian-language singer whose real name is Ioann Zhani Kuznetsov. He was born in Kyiv in 2001 into a Roma family. His first major exposure came in 2014, when he performed the chorus of Quest Pistols’ “Санта Лючия”. Andro released his debut solo single, “Удиви меня”, in 2016 and later became one of the central artists associated with the RAAVA Music creative circle alongside ELMAN and JONY.
Released in 2019, “Инопланетянин” entered the Top 10 of the VK music chart and became his defining breakthrough. “Моя душа”, “X.O.”, “Купидон” and “Забываю обещания” developed his sound between melodic R&B, pop and hip-hop. Flexible vocal phrasing, melismatic delivery and rhythmic freedom, partly connected to Roma musical traditions, distinguish Andro within the Russian-language urban scene.
