Andru Donalds – a Jamaican singer and songwriter born in Kingston. After finishing school, he lived in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States while developing his music career. He released his debut studio album in 1994, and its single “Mishale” reached number 38 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1995, bringing him international recognition. He later continued his success with songs including “Save Me Now”, “Simple Obsession” and “All Out of Love”. From 1999, he contributed vocals to several albums by Michael Cretu’s Enigma project and became one of its principal singers. His distinctive vocal style combines pop, reggae, soul and elements of rock.
