Ani Lorak

Ani Lorak – a Ukrainian-born pop singer whose real name is Karolina Kuiek. She was born in Kitsman on 27 September 1978 and began participating in music competitions during her teenage years. She adopted the stage name Ani Lorak in the mid-1990s. In 2008, she represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Shady Lady” and finished in second place. Her repertoire includes emotional ballads, contemporary pop productions and dance-oriented songs. Lorak is known for her powerful vocals, dramatic delivery and large-scale concert shows.
