Dilara Kazimova – an Azerbaijani singer and actress. She studied vocal performance at the Baku Academy of Music and briefly worked with an opera company after graduating. During the early stage of her career, she was the vocalist of the rock band Unformal and later the duo Milk & Kisses. Both projects competed in Azerbaijan’s Eurovision selection, while the duo represented the country at the New Wave festival in 2010. In 2014, she won “Böyük Səhnə” and represented Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Start a Fire”, finishing 22nd in the final. Alongside music, she has appeared in several film productions. Her work combines pop, rock and R&B with expressive vocals and contemporary arrangements.
