Elnur Huseynov

Elnur Huseynov – an Azerbaijani singer who began studying piano and vocals at the age of five before continuing his education at the Asaf Zeynally Music College. During the early stages of his professional career, he worked at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the State Philharmonic Hall. In 2008, he and Samir Javadzadeh became Azerbaijan’s first Eurovision representatives, finishing eighth in the final with “Day After Day”. He won the Turkish television competition “O Ses Türkiye” in 2015 and represented Azerbaijan at Eurovision for a second time later that year. His performance of “Hour of the Wolf” finished twelfth in the final. He is known for his wide vocal range and ability to combine classical vocal technique with contemporary pop.
