Evgeny Grinko – a Russian composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist. He began his musical career playing guitar and drums and spent part of his early years performing with experimental rock groups. In 2007, he began teaching himself piano and gradually moved towards neoclassical and instrumental music. “Valse”, composed in 2010, spread widely across digital platforms and brought him international recognition. “Jane Maryam”, “Field”, “See You Tomorrow” and “Wind Brought” are also among his most popular pieces. His work is characterised by simple melodic themes, restrained arrangements and a melancholic, cinematic atmosphere. By combining piano with strings and other acoustic instruments, he has developed a calm, emotional and immediately recognisable musical style.
